These follow the usual lines
in such cases; no premium, a nominal Crown Rent of one
dollar per annum, and a covenant restricting the use of
the lot to the purpose of a garden for the University
women's hostel on Inland Lot No. 2427.

The hostel on Inland Lot No. 2427 was presented
to the University of Hong Kong by the Soeurs de St. Paul
de Chartres and was opened in August, 1939, as a hostel for
twenty five women students. The existing premises contain
no space for recreational purposes and it is proposed to
supply this deficiency by the grant for which your approval
is now requested.
3.
The new lot has no access from any public road and
is incapable of development as a separate site.
